Miyake Brewery is dedicated to sake brewing that cherishes the local traditions of Kibi while aiming to be an open brewery accessible to everyone. We not only use locally sourced rice but also revive ancient sake rice varieties like "Miyako," which were cultivated in this region until around the Taisho era. We also engage in organic, pesticide-free rice cultivation and host events like the "Sake Making University," where community members can freely participate in rice growing and sake brewing. Additionally, we emphasize preserving ancient culture by exhibiting traditional sake-making tools in our "Sake Brewery Museum." Our efforts are deeply rooted in the local community. Recently, we have been honored with the Gold Award at the National New Sake Appraisal for three consecutive years.
