Founded in 1855, the brewery used the pure spring water from the southern foothills of Mt. Akagi and was committed to crafting sake by hand, with great care and attention to detail. Although it had long upheld the tradition of artisanal brewing, the brewery sadly closed its doors in 2023, bringing its history to an end.
