Ishikawa Brewery's history began on September 1, 1863 (lunar calendar). The 13th-generation head, Wakichi, started brewing sake by renting a brewery from Morita Brewery in Ogawa Village (now Akiruno City) on the opposite bank of the Tama River. Known for its smooth texture and crisp finish, Ishikawa Brewery takes pride in crafting exceptional sake.
