Zenkuro Sake is New Zealand’s first and only sake brewery, proudly based in Queenstown. We craft ginjo and junmai-style sake using the finest polished sake rice and pure water from the Southern Alps. Our name, Zenkuro, combines zen (全), meaning "entirely" or "completely," with kuro (黒), meaning "black"—a bold and powerful mix that reflects our uniquely Kiwi spirit.
