Sato Shuzoten Brewery Company(Saitama)
Saitama
Founded in 1844 (Kōka 1), this sake brewery is located in the nature-rich town of Ogose, Saitama Prefecture, home to the Ogose Plum Grove—one of the three major plum groves in the Kanto region—and the scenic Kuroyama Santaki Falls.
With a focus on small-batch, handcrafted production, the brewery is committed to creating gentle, easy-drinking sake with a soft, rounded finish—crafted with care to quietly accompany moments of joy, sorrow, and everything in between.
The flagship label is "Ogose Bairin." The head brewer, or toji, is notably the first female master brewer in Saitama Prefecture. She assumed this important role at the young age of 26 and leads the brewing with skill and dedication.
