Azumanofumoto Brewery Company
Yamagata
Since its founding in 1896, the brewery has dedicated itself to crafting sake that fulfills the hearts of those who drink it. With a strong commitment to using locally sourced rice and water, it preserves and passes down the art of ginjo brewing to future generations. As part of its efforts to make sake more approachable for younger audiences, the brewery has launched a new initiative in collaboration with Tohoku University of Art and Design students. Together, they developed a fresh brand called Tenkyu. Azumanofumoto Brewery continues to uphold the traditions of sake brewing handed down through generations while constantly innovating to create sake that appeals to people of all ages.
