Saijo Brewery Company

Osaka

Saijo Brewery has been crafting sake in Kawachinagano, Osaka since 1718 (Kyōhō 3), making it one of the region's longstanding producers. Initially known under the names “Miki Masamune” through the late Meiji era, and later as “Hano-tsuru” during the Taisho and Showa periods, the brewery revived its historic label “Amano-sake” in 1971 (Showa 46) with the support of Amanosan Kongōji Temple and the encouragement of the local community. Today, it is recognized as a beloved local sake known by those in the know. Using only premium sake rice polished in-house with great care, and brewed by skilled Nanbu Toji artisans, each drop is crafted with patience and dedication. The brewery is especially acclaimed for its Junmai-style sake, celebrated for its rich aroma and smooth, mellow flavor, earning high praise from sake connoisseurs.
