Yukikage is solid sake with a mild aroma filled with elements of green apple and pudding. It is a down-to-earth, very well-balanced sake with a pleasant mouthfeel. It is a typical "no impact" sake, solid and very sake-like, which makes it a pleasure to drink. The tight flavor hides a smooth, subtle richness, which rounds out when drunk in a larger container. It smells like steamed rice at first, and as you drink it down, it has a semi-sweet, deep, earthy aroma like maple syrup and caramel.
