I usually prefer Yamahai-style of Sanshoraku, but this was my first time trying a Sokujo-style. Before tasting, it had a slightly alcoholic aroma with a rich, dense scent. The flavor started off creamy and full-bodied, gradually revealing depth and a noticeable grain-like texture. The finish was clear and refined. It had a strong presence and paired wonderfully with Omi beef sukiyaki.
