Shizuoka Hiraki Brewery is a new brewery founded in 2012. In its first year, production was only about 100 koku, making it one of the smallest breweries in Japan. Despite this small scale, each batch is carefully crafted, combining the traditional skills of the toji (master brewer) with modern quality control techniques, including climate-controlled facilities and thermal tanks.
