Tenryohomare Sake Brewery began brewing sake in 1880 in the Iwafune area of Shinshu Nakano, located at the edge of an alluvial fan fed by the abundant spring water flowing from the Shiga Highlands. Situated in northern Nagano Prefecture, this region is known for its significant temperature differences, which help produce high-quality rice. The local people, who cherish good sake, have long supported the brewery's efforts. Located in Nakano City, Nagano Prefecture, Tenryohomare benefits from excellent conditions for sake brewing—clean water, quality rice, and a climate ideal for fermentation. Although its annual production volume does not match that of major manufacturers, the brewery’s passion for creating delicious sake is second to none. They hope to share their heartfelt sake with as many people as possible.
