Centered around a terroir-focused concept, this sake is made exclusively from "Kairyoshinko," a sake-brewing rice variety cultivated in the brewery's fields and by contract farmers in Agatsuma District, Gunma Prefecture. Polished to a 45% milling ratio, the rice imparts a delicate sweetness and a fresh flavor developed through slow, low-temperature fermentation. The aroma features enticing notes of banana and green melon, with a hint of creamy fragrance. While elegant, the flavor is rich and well-balanced, offering a warm alcohol presence with a velvety yet refreshing finish.

Founded in 1872, this brewery has been crafting sake for over 150 years in the scenic town of Naganohara, Gunma Prefecture. Nestled between the famous tourist destinations of Mount Shirane and Kusatsu Onsen to the north and Mount Asama and Kita-Karuizawa to the south, the brewery sits at an elevation of approximately 600 meters. Utilizing the soft water from the Asama mountain range and the dry air of the Oku-Joshu region, they create sake with a soft mouthfeel and a clean, refreshing taste. In recent years, the brewery has focused on a "terroir" concept, using sake rice grown locally in Gunma’s Agatsuma District, including rice from their own fields.
