Established in 1704, the Kaba Shuzo in Furukawa, Hida City, Gifu Prefecture, boasts a rich history in sake brewing. Utilizing the abundant water blessings of Hida and the sake rice "Hidahomare" nurtured by the harsh climate, our brewing methods truly encapsulate the flavor of Hida. With a wide range of offerings including "Shiramayumi," "Yancha Sake," and the champagne-like "Janpan," we are beloved by locals. Furthermore, our main building and other structures, designated as registered tangible cultural properties by the government, particularly the Bunsho Storehouse standing along the Setogawa River, contribute to the iconic scenery of Furukawa, representing Hida's heritage.
