Daichi Brewery Company
Oita
Founded in 1885 in Saiki City, a culinary town in southern Oita Prefecture, this historic brewery continues to craft sake that complements the region’s rich variety of fresh ingredients.
In 2019, the brewery was passed down to a new generation and relocated from Sendomachi to Kamiura, just 400 meters from the sea. It now brews its sake using pristine underground water sourced from the nearby Gyōran Falls.
Their mission is to create sake that pairs naturally with Saiki’s vibrant local cuisine — sake that the community can take pride in and truly call their own.
