Isochidori Brewery Company

Okayama

This brewery was founded in 1751, during the mid-Edo period. Located in an area blessed with quality rice and pure water, we have been making sake for over 260 years while preserving tradition. The name "Isochidori" comes from the past when this area was close to the sea and known for its scenic beauty, where plovers (chidori) would often be seen flying. As a small brewery, we take advantage of our scale to craft each bottle by hand with great care, ensuring sake that brings joy to our customers. Our sake is generally light and slightly dry, making it a great match for a wide variety of dishes.
