Experience a sip back in time with Hizou ShouwaKoshu 1988. This rare, aged Saké from Gifu has subtle notes of caramel, dried fruits, and nuts. A sweetheart, with an SMV of 4, suggesting a slightly sweet taste. Brewed with the time-honored 'Gohyakumangoku' rice grain, this Saké pairs well with grilled meats or rich, creamy dishes. Crafted by the renowned Peace Nishiki Brewery, this is a true taste of the Showa era. Savor it, and transport your senses to Japan's past.

Gifu

The buildings, including the main house and two brewery buildings, are the original structures from 160 years ago. Using the climate of Oku-Mino, this small brewery crafts sake by hand. The tools are well-worn antiques, and there are no large machines, so only a limited amount can be made at one time. This is why the sake, created by the yeast that has lived in the brewery for generations and the traditional skills of the brewers, has a unique flavor that can only be found at Kinsen-Heiwanishiki Shuzo.
