Tsukinowa Brewery Company

Tsukinowa Brewery Company

Iwate

Founded in 1886 in Shiwa Town, Shiwa District, Iwate Prefecture, the birthplace of Nanbu Toji (master brewers). Onigoroshi Shuzo has maintained a philosophy of being a family business rather than just a corporation. They continuously aim to preserve tradition while innovating their techniques. They primarily use locally grown sake rice such as "Ginotome," "Ginginga," and "Yumeno Kaori," and brew with soft well water from underground sources of the Kitakami River. Their goal is to craft a smooth sake with a clear and gentle flavor profile, complemented by a robust richness and depth of flavor.
