This Junmai Daiginjo uses sake brewing rice “Koshihikari”, which is one of the most famous cooking rice in Japan. The nose on this very tasty sake is a splendid collection of vanilla, sweet rice and bamboo aromas. You can also enjoy a round texture on your palate with elegant flavor. It can be good partner with sashimi, tempura, soba noodles. It is recommended to serve chilled with wine glass.

Kaetsu Sake Brewery Company (Niigata)

Kaetsu Sake Brewery Company (Niigata)

Niigata

Our brewery was founded in 1880 in Fukushima prefecture (transferred to Niigata prefecture in 1886). Niigata prefecture is famous for its most delicious table rice “Koshihikari” and very nice domestic Sake. Our town Aga-machi is located where the Agano River and the Tokonami River join and is surrounded by many mountains. Then fogs often gather along those rivers. Such a climate condition gives birth to the highest class Sakamai (Sake rice). Moreover water quality is also important in Sake brewing. Our brewery has been blessed with an excellent natural spring in which water is pure and soft. “Our Sake is a wonderful gift from nature”.
