Founded in 1903, the first-generation founder Kihei Hirota took over a well-known sake brewery in the area. Since the post-war period, the brewery has continued to produce sake under the name Hirota Sake Brewery. In 2022, to enhance its corporate capabilities, the business transitioned from a sole proprietorship to a corporation and was renamed Shiwa Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. The sake 'Hiroki,' created to bring joy to a wide range of people and enhance local festivals and celebrations, remains a beloved representative brand of our brewery.
