A crisp and bold Junmai Daiginjo from Gunma, it embodies 'Otokoisshin' spirit. Made from premium Yamada Nishiki rice with a polish ratio of 40%, it captures pure, fresh flavors. A tantalizing acidity of 1.4 provides a refreshing tang, while a SMV of 4 lends a hint of sweetness. Its robust character resonates well with hearty grilled seafood or marbled beef. Enjoy an indulgent, full-bodied experience with this unfiltered, undiluted sake! Produced by Bunka Shuzo Brewery, committed to crafting exquisite sakes since 1832.

Bunfuku Brewery Company

Gunma

The brewery was founded in 1825 (Bunsei 8) by Tomokichi Kezuka I in Hon-Konya, located in the southwestern part of the castle town of Tatebayashi (now Nakacho, Tatebayashi City). Its trade name was Marukiya, and its signature sake, Bunbuku, was named after the auspicious phrase meaning “to share good fortune,” as well as the local legend of the Bunbuku Chagama (“The Lucky Teakettle”). In their sake brewing, they are deeply committed to traditional methods—using pure natural spring water from the Akagi mountain range and organically grown rice sourced through contracted farmers. Every step, from rice washing to fermentation, is carried out carefully by hand. Bunbuku is known for its rich yet clean flavor, making it an excellent pairing with a wide range of dishes. It is crafted to be a sake that delivers an immediate “Delicious!” upon the first sip, and leaves you reaching for a second. True to this philosophy, they aim to offer sake as close to its natural state as possible, including unpasteurized and undiluted expressions, allowing drinkers to fully experience the raw essence of their craft.
