‘Earth’ is crafted entirely from organically grown rice and is the most agriculturally focused expression in the ‘Colors’ series. It uses Rikuu132, a rice variety developed in Akita Prefecture during the Taisho era, with heritage from two of the ‘Three Great Japanese Rice Varieties’ of the Meiji era: Kamenoo and Aikoku. This sake offers a truly natural drinking experience, featuring a clear acidity, gentle sweetness, and a slight astringency on the finish, all together in perfect balance.
