This sake received the Monde Selection Gold Award in 1977, the first time for Japanese sake in the world. Since then, it has been awarded for over 40 years. Furthermore, it has won numerous gold awards worldwide, making it a flagship sake in the Otokoyama sake brewery. It is polished to 38% of selected sake-brewing rice "Yamada-Nishiki," and most of the making process is done manually, making this sake premium. You can enjoy a crisp yet elegant flavor. It is better to have it chilled. Good pairing foods are light dishes such as tempura or salt-grilled fish.
