"Sasa" is another name for sake. "Sasa-ori" refers to the slightly cloudy sake that forms between the settled lees at the bottom and the clear sake above. Traditionally, this was considered the best part of the sake and was secretly enjoyed by the brewery workers. In 1986, we decided to share this treasured flavor with our customers by creating a product. "Sasa-ori" is a special junmai sake made from highly polished rice, offering a fragrant and unique taste that can only be enjoyed during limited seasons.
