Kamihei Shuzo Brewery Company
Iwate
Our brewery traces its origins back to Tateya Sake Brewery, founded in 1789 (Kansei 1). During wartime regulations, seven breweries in Kamihei District merged to form Kamihei Shuzo Brewery. Located in Tono City, near the center of Iwate Prefecture, our brewery experiences hot summers and cold winters due to its basin geography. Surrounded by pristine air and pure water, we craft our sake in the natural beauty of Tono.
