Tenryo Brewery Company

Gifu

The brewing of sake began in the Edo period (1603-1868) and became a family business in the Meiji period (1868-1912), and was incorporated in 1956 as Tenryo Sake Brewery Co. We have inherited the spirit of Sahei Hinoya, who loved the nature and humanity of Hida, from the beginning of sake brewing to the 8th generation, and continue to grow into Tenryo, a sake brewery in Hida, using "Hidahomare," rice suitable for sake brewing grown by the nature of Hida, and underground water from the Hida Mountains, with a focus on in-house rice milling.
