Hanamura is a sake crafted under the rare and exceptional technical guidance of Mr. Takagi, president of the world-renowned brewery Juyondai. Because of its connection to Juyondai and its outstanding quality, it has quickly gained attention among sake enthusiasts. From rice selection and brewing methods to label design and naming, every detail has been overseen by Juyondai, resulting in a sake praised for its refined sweetness, clarity, and smooth texture. The rice used is called Rikuuden, a relatively unfamiliar variety also arranged by Mr. Takagi. This sake offers a gently sweet aroma, a silky mouthfeel, and subtle sweetness on the palate. Balanced with crisp acidity, it delivers a firmer impression than Omachi rice. With a clean finish, it is enjoyable on its own or as a perfect companion to meals. To preserve its delicate flavor, each bottle is carefully hand-filled right after pressing and pasteurized in the bottle. Serve slightly chilled to fully appreciate its fragrance and elegant taste.

Ryozeki Brewery Company

Akita

Established in 1847 in Yuzawa City, Akita Prefecture, known for heavy snowfall in the Tohoku region. Ryozeki Shuzo boasts four buildings, including the main house, designated as Akita Prefecture's first registered tangible cultural property. Guided by the motto 'Quality Sake Crafting,' they benefit from abundant nature and a climate ideal for brewing. Their unique method involves slow, cool fermentation over an extended period, ensuring meticulous craftsmanship. While previously focused on producing ordinary sake, they now devote time and effort to each stage, shifting towards crafting primarily designated-name sake.
