Ozaki Brewery Company

Wakayama

Founded in the early Meiji era, we are the southernmost sake brewery on Japan’s main island, located at the heart of the UNESCO-listed Kumano Sanzan region. We are the only local sake producer operating between Aridagawa in Wakayama and the Ise-Matsusaka area in Mie. Our sake is brewed using the pristine underground waters of the Kumano River and the source water of Nachi Falls. We also produce and sell umeshu made with Nanko plums from Tanabe, Wakayama, and aged with locally sourced Kishu Binchotan charcoal.
