When opened, this sake releases a subtle yet sweet aroma reminiscent of mandarin oranges. On the first sip, fresh and lively acidity mingles with the rich sweetness of rice umami, creating a soft, full-bodied impression. The balance sits around 6.5 acidity to 3.5 sweetness, offering a juicy, rounded mid-palate followed by a clean and refreshing finish where the brightness of acidity lingers. Brewed with Tsuyahime, a premium table rice from Yamagata Prefecture, this Junmai Ginjo offers exceptional value for its depth and flavor. Its taste is reminiscent of a mandarin liqueur with a squeeze of lemon — fruity, vibrant, and delightfully smooth.
