Zen is one of the best-seller sake in Urakasumi that has been sold since 1973. It has a fruity Ginjo flavor like apple, melon, and pear, mellow acidity, and rich umami of rice. It is well-balanced sake, and also easy for beginner to try to drink or the best sake for the present. It makes perfect combination with squid or scallops sashimi, carpaccio of white-fleshed fish, marinated octopus, or tomato and mozzarella cheese caprese. At any temperature is enjoyable: chilled, at room temperature, or warmed.

Founded in 1724, we are a sake brewery with a history spanning over 1,000 years, located at the historic Ichinomiya Shrine in Shioya, Oshu. Our brewery, housed in traditional buildings dating back to the Edo(1700s) to Taisho(1900s) periods, uses minimal machinery, with only a cooling system in place. Our motto is 'Brewing genuine sake with care and selling it with care,' and we remain committed to traditional brewing methods.
