This mead is made using 100% multifloral honey harvested from native Japanese honeybees raised at Yatsubusa Beekeeping Laboratory in Setagaya. The honey, sourced entirely from these rare Tokyo-raised bees, is known for its deep, complex flavor and is often called “phantom honey” due to its exceptional rarity. Infused with the rich aromas of seasonal blossoms, this mead offers a luxurious and refined drinking experience. Mead, made from honey, is believed to be the world’s oldest alcoholic beverage—predating wine by over 10,000 years. In Europe, it has long been cherished as a lucky and celebratory drink, traditionally served at weddings and other joyful occasions.

Tokyo Port Brewery Company

Tokyo Port Brewery Company

Tokyo

2011 we established the only sake brewery in Tokyo’s 23 wards. Operating from a four-story building, we brew sake year-round under strictly controlled temperatures. As the sole brewery producing sake in central Tokyo, we deliver fresh, high-quality products in small batches. Tokyo Port Brewery is known for its unique focus on microbrewing, utilizing tap water in its sake production. With a small team, we are committed to evolving daily, crafting fresh and delicious sake while conducting research and development to explore 'new ways of brewing' for the future.
