Sakuragao Brewery Company

Iwate

Sakuragao Sake Brewery is located east of Morioka, at the foot of Mt. Tatara, in a natural setting where the Liang River, home to sweetfish, flows right in front. This rich environment produces sake with a mellow aroma, smooth and delicate taste, and harmonious balance. We primarily use "sake brewing suitable rice" and yeast from Iwate Prefecture, and, through the techniques of the Nanbu Toji—the representative master brewers of Japanese sake and the largest toji group in Japan—always aim to create sake that exceeds expectations.
