This sake brewery practices a "domaine" approach, where every step—from cultivating sake rice to polishing and brewing—is done in-house. They meticulously consider how to grow, select, and polish the rice to create the best possible sake. The master blender assesses the taste and quality of the rice, carefully selecting only the finest grains as if searching for a rare gem. With a polishing ratio of just 28%, among the best in the sake industry, this sake blossoms on the palate. Its aroma is subtle, offering a refined and delicate finish that is refreshingly clean.

Yoshinotomo Brewery Company

Toyama

Since the 1960s, we have been pioneers in producing junmai sake, ahead of other breweries. Currently, 100% of our production is junmai sake. The name 'Yoshinotomo' is derived from the 'Yoshi' of the Yoshida family, the brewery owner, and 'Tomo' meaning 'friend' with whom to share sake. Our flagship brand, 'Yoshinotomo,' is written in hiragana and embodies our desire for people to enjoy delicious sake with friends casually.
