Eisen Junmai Daiginjo

Rating from Customers

3 reviews

All Miyamanishiki rice suitable for sake brewing produced in Aizu is used for the raw material rice, which is polished to 45%, and fermented at low temperature to bring out the flavor and aroma of the rice. It is a delicate yet robust junmai daiginjo with the depth of a junmai sake. It is recommended to be served chilled, but can also be enjoyed at room temperature.

Eisen Brewery Company

Fukushima

Founded in 1869 in Fukushima, Eisen Brewery has remained committed to making sake by hand as much as possible, rather than relying too heavily on machinery. Our special Junmai sake, "Eisen," is made with locally grown Miyama Nishiki from Aizu. It offers a rich, full-bodied flavor and a smooth texture, with a clean finish. In 2022, it was awarded the gold medal at the Sake Competition for Wine Glasses.
