"Kiminoi Honjozo Nama Genshu" comes from Kiminoi Shuzo, a brewery founded in 1842 in Myoko City, Niigata. Made with Niigata-grown rice and the natural spring water flowing from Mt. Myoko, this sake is bottled fresh — unpasteurized (nama) and undiluted (genshu) — to preserve its bold, just-pressed character. With a higher alcohol content of 19%, it offers a rich, full-bodied umami and a crisp Honjozo finish. Best enjoyed well-chilled or on the rocks, this sake is a great choice for those who love a robust, flavorful pour.

Kiminoi Brewery is located along the road formerly known as Hokkoku-Kaido Araishuku. Thanks to the "land of heavy snowfall," Arai area becomes a natural refrigerator in winter. It is blessed with abundant groundwater, such as river-bed water from the Yashiro River from Mt. Myoko. This condition makes Arai an ideal environment for sake brewing. Kiminoi Brewery has been growing with the blessing of the snow. Under the motto of "Spare No Efforts for Sake Brewing," we are particularly focused on "Yamahai-Tsukuri" and continue our tireless efforts to improve quality.
