This is famous as one of the best Houraisen and a limited edition made in small production. It is aged at a low temperature for two and a half years, so you can feel condensed umami flavor of rice. The balance of acidity and sweetness is also good. On the label opening lines of Heike Monogatari (The tale of the Heike, which is Japanese classics), 'The sound of the bell of Gion-shoja rings... ' are written. It matches with light cheese such as mozzarella and feta.

Sekiya Brewery Company

Sekiya Brewery Company

Aichi

Founded in 1864, this brewery is located in the nature-rich region of Oku-Mikawa in Aichi Prefecture. With a deep commitment to quality, they carefully select their sake rice and handle all rice polishing in-house. Some of the rice is even cultivated by the brewery itself. For the brewing alcohol—one of the ingredients used in sake—they produce it from their own sake lees, making full use of raw materials while prioritizing safety and environmental sustainability. In addition to sake, the brewery also produces shochu and liqueurs made with locally grown fruits, offering a diverse range of products. Loved by the local community, their sake is enjoyed both for daily drinking and special celebrations.
