Miyashita Brewery has been crafting sake for over 100 years since 1915. In 2015, they opened the Okayama Distillery and began producing authentic Japanese whisky, which has already won gold awards. This special sake combines their century of sake brewing tradition with their whisky-making expertise. It is aged in Oloroso sherry barrels, giving it gentle notes of raisin and prune. You can also enjoy rich, nutty flavors and a hint of fig that blend beautifully with the natural sweetness of the rice.

Miyashita Brewery was founded in 1915 in Tamano City. In search of high-quality water suited for sake brewing, the company relocated entirely to Okayama City in 1967. They utilize the underground water of the Asahi River, one of the three major rivers in Okayama Prefecture, for brewing. Over the years, Miyashita Shuzo has expanded its production to a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, including sake, shochu, craft beer, liqueurs, whiskey, gin, and vodka, all manufactured and sold in-house.
