Tojo Town in Shobara City has a history of prospering as a castle town. Ikuma Sake Brewery, founded in 1865, is one of the few long-established breweries that know the bustling era of Tōjō Town. Notably, it is the only brewery in Hiroshima Prefecture that makes sake using hard water.
