Indulge yourself in the Kikuzakari Onikenbai, a Junmai Ginjo sake brought to you from the frosty prefecture of Iwate. This sake, polished to a 50% ratio, hosts a beautifully balanced profile of moderate acidity and sweetness (SMV of 2). This sublime combination gives birth to a smooth sensation with a slight sharpness, alluding to the 'Onikenbai' meaning 'Devil’s Sword Dance'. It's perfect for any cold evening, paired with a cozy seafood dish or hearty meat dish.

Kikuzakari Brewery Company

Kikuzakari Brewery Company

Iwate

Founded in 1894, our brewery is the sole sake brewery in Kitaami City, Iwate Prefecture. Despite facing damage from the Great East Japan Earthquake, including partial collapse of the brewery and complete destruction of the soy sauce brewery, we successfully raised funds through crowdfunding. Today, we continue to exclusively use locally grown rice from Iwate Prefecture to produce only Junmai-shu (pure rice sake).
