Experience a taste ride with this 'Taxi Driver' from Kikuzakari. It's a Junmai sake with a remarkable 55% rice polishing ratio - embodying the very essence of its grain. With a somewhat high acidity of 1.9, prepare for a daring tartness that complements the light sweetness inferred by its SMV of 3 beautifully. Each sip takes you on an intricate journey of flavors, deriving from the pristine terrains of Iwate prefecture. Perfect for those seeking an exciting and unique sake encounter. Pair it with light bites for an unmatched combo. Enjoy the ride!

Kikuzakari Brewery Company

Kikuzakari Brewery Company

Iwate

Founded in 1894, our brewery is the sole sake brewery in Kitaami City, Iwate Prefecture. Despite facing damage from the Great East Japan Earthquake, including partial collapse of the brewery and complete destruction of the soy sauce brewery, we successfully raised funds through crowdfunding. Today, we continue to exclusively use locally grown rice from Iwate Prefecture to produce only Junmai-shu (pure rice sake).
