This sake offers a gentle, elegant ginjo aroma reminiscent of ripe peaches. A subtle sparkle enhances the palate, where effervescence, sweetness, and acidity are beautifully balanced. Hints of delicate sweetness evoke shiratama (glutinous rice dumplings), while a soft, rice-derived sweetness gradually unfolds. The finish is smooth and peach-like, with richness and acidity harmonizing to create a refined, luxurious impression. It pairs well with light meats, white fish, and blue fish served raw or lightly seared, as well as seafood such as squid and scallops. It also complements hot pot or soup dishes made with dried sardine or fish-based broth, soy sauce– or miso-seasoned dishes, and even desserts or dishes featuring fresh cream or mascarpone cheese.
