This sake is gently low in acidity, offering a subtle sweetness reminiscent of shiratama (glutinous rice dumplings). While slightly viscous in texture, a smooth, rice-derived sweetness unfolds gracefully across the palate. Selected as a First Class sake on JAL domestic flights in 2015, it showcases a refined and luxurious ginjo aroma. Juicy sweetness and silky smoothness are beautifully balanced by delicate acidity, creating an indulgent yet elegant drinking experience. It pairs well with mild white fish, hot pots or soups made with fish-based broths such as dried sardines, dishes seasoned with fermented ingredients like soy sauce or miso, as well as dairy-based dishes or desserts featuring fresh cream or mascarpone cheese. Berry fruits and tropical fruits also make excellent pairings.
