Savor the delights of Daiginjo Sekinoichi, a luxurious sake from Iwate. Its fall under the Daiginjo category points to its high quality, with a rice polish ratio of 40% promising refined flavors. The absence of specifics on the rice type and acidity/smoothness level leaves room for surprise. Its character remains an enigma - perhaps hinting at a complex masterpiece waiting to be discovered. Pair it with light appetizers or savor on its own, and let the sake's enigma unfold with each sip. Suitable for adventurous palates seeking new heights in their sake journey.

Sekinoichi Brewery Company

Sekinoichi Brewery Company

Iwate

Founded in 1918, our brewery was named "Sekinoichi" by Imperial Prince who encouraged us to create sake that brings joy to people. Before World War II, we were one of the largest breweries in the region, but we faced difficult times during and after the war. The second-generation owner, Masaru Sato, left a will advising the closure of the brewery. However, determined to preserve the historic buildings and landscape of Ichinoseki, the third-generation owner, Koki Sato, invested his own resources to keep the company alive. Our strength lies in our dedication to flavors that truly represent Iwate—creating products and services that can only be made in our hometown.
