Renowned sake enthusiast Dave Grohl has collaborated with Tatenokawa, renowned for crafting premium junmai daiginjo sake. To celebrate the release of Foo Fighters' 10th album, Medicine at Midnight, they created "Hansho" (meaning midnight). This sake was brewed while listening to the band's music and fermented at an exceptionally low temperature in Tatenokawa's historic brewery, established in 1832. The blue hue reflects the band's pop sensibility, with an expressive aroma and a delicate, fresh sweetness in the flavor, achieved using locally sourced Dewasansan sake rice.
