Origarami means “Light Nigori” or “Misty” sake. In the series of “Takachiyo in Hiragana”, each has own theme of fruits, and this blue label Takachiyo’s one is grapefruit. Like the theme, it has less sweetness, a little bit of acidity and bitterness, refreshing, juicy, and fruity taste like grapefruit ! It goes well with light meal such as cold tofu or edamame. It is recommended to serve chilled or at room temperature.

The area is also known for its heavy snowfall due to its location at the foot of high mountains and is rich in subterranean water, which is filtered after decades of snowmelt. In recent years, the brewery has been focusing on the rare sake rice "Ipponshime," cultivating it in-house and under contract from seed production to cultivation and milling the rice in-house.
