This is the only small sake brewery in Ise, with its brewing facilities located in the back of the shop. The brewery produces a sake called Okagesama, a name inspired by the Edo-period pilgrimage known as Okage Mairi, and by the spirit of gratitude toward the deities and nature of Ise. They use underground water from the clear Isuzu River, which flows through the sacred grounds of the Ise Grand Shrine, along with carefully polished premium rice. Each bottle is crafted with heartfelt appreciation by the brewers, embodying the spirit of Okagesama.
