Gold, kinari, and silver with green and blue tones. It is a sake like a person who is natural when you first meet him, but the more you get to know him, the more interesting he becomes. After a little while after drinking, it appears full-bodied and good peculiar.

Kaze no mori will always have a place in my heart. I like the funkiness and the big swings. Not all of them will hit, and for me this one is a bit of a miss. I will admit I’m not enamored of the current push for more effervescence, but this just feels unbalanced and cloying. Still, Yamamoto-San and team are able to wrangle table rice with astonishing results and that is no mean feat.
