Often referred to as a rare delicacy, the rice variety 'Yukihotaka' is cultivated under strict management methods in Kawaba Village, located in northern Gunma’s Tone District. Only Koshihikari rice grown under these specific conditions can bear the name 'Yukihotaka.' Crafted using minimal polishing and traditional Edo-period brewing methods without relying on additives, this sake is rich in umami and full of natural flavor.

Tsuchida Brewery Company

Tsuchida Brewery Company

Gunma

Tsuchida Sake Brewery was founded in 1907 and is based in Kawaba Village, Gunma Prefecture, a small village with a population of 3,100. It is the only sake brewery in the Kanto region to have received an honorary award. The brewery uses modern machinery and equipment to follow the Edo period (1603-1868) brewing method and brews locally grown rice in Gunma with as little polishing as possible. We want to maximize the flavor of the rice and allow people to enjoy the diversity and complexity of sake. We are constantly striving to pass this technology on to the next generation.
