In 1888, our founder Heikichi Tobe united sake brewers in the Eijima area to establish Eigashima Brewery. A rare feature of our brewery is the seven wooden kura (brewing facilities) located on the same premises—each serving a unique purpose and all still in use today. With thick walls and minimal windows, these kura maintain a stable temperature, making them ideal for sake brewing, storage, and aging.
