The rice used is Nara Prefecture's famous "Tsuyuhakaze", a special junmai dry type of sake, which is watered and fire-aged. The aroma is mild for a dry type. The dry type has a mild aroma, but the clean acidity and firm richness bring out the fresh umami flavor. The refreshing aftertaste makes it suitable not only for pairing with meals but also for enjoying the sake alone. It is a sake with a wonderful sense of balance in the mouthfeel rather than a noticeably spicy flavor.
